Project Overview
GOLDBED delivered the complete concrete flooring package for Global Switch Amsterdam, one of Europe’s most advanced and network-dense data-centre campuses. Spanning both the existing Amsterdam West facility and the new Amsterdam East expansion, the site offers a combined planned capacity of 73,000 m² of technical space and supports high-density IT environments with loads of up to 10 kN/m².
With a dedicated 50 kV power supply, robust multi-layer UPS and generator redundancy, and chilled-water cooling for high-performance deployments, the campus required reinforced floors with exceptional precision, stability, and durability. Menfor constructed all reinforced slabs and precision-level surfaces across the technical and equipment areas, ensuring the structural integrity and operational performance needed for enterprise, cloud, and hyperscale clients.
